An example of mutually beneficial cooperation

The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Navoi branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian State Technical University was a clear example of mutually beneficial cooperation between scientists from Uzbekistan and Belarus.

The memorandum provides for the establishment of partnerships between the parties and the development of long-term effective mutually beneficial cooperation in order to commercialize and promote innovative developments of scientists of the two countries in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus.

In particular, the Uzbek side was interested in the University’s development in the field of creating new composite materials, the production of water-soluble chlorine-free fertilizers, innovative technologies for producing high-quality concrete and processing cotton into various products. Belarusian scientists were interested in the innovative method of production of gypsum binders and the technology of enrichment of quartz sand, developed by employees of the Navoi branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the project for creating paulownia plantations on rainfed lands.
